  1. FILE
  2.     New Gopher
  3.         Opens a new gopher window to the

  53.     Select all
  54.         Selects all the text within a text
  55.         window.

  57. FIND
  58.     Find ...
  59.         Brings up a dialog asking you for the
  60.         string you would like to locate within
  61.         a text window.  It also has buttons
  62.         allowing you to select a case sensitive
  63.         search, and to wrap the search around
  64.         the entire text within the text window.
  65.     Find Next
  66.         Finds the next occurrance of the string
  67.         either entered within the Find dialog
  68.         or via Enter Selection.
  69.     Find Previous
  70.         Finds the previous occurrance of the
  71.         string either entered within the Find
  72.         dialog or via Enter Selection.    Enter
  73.         Selection
  74.     Enter Selection
  75.         Takes the text which is selected in
  76.         a text window and makes this
  77.         selection the string all searching
  78.         will take place on.  It will be as
  79.         though you entered the selected
  80.         text in the Find dialog.
  81.     Jump to Selection
  82.         Scrolls the window such that the current
  83.         left most selection is now visible.  If
  84.         no text is selected, it scrolls to the
  85.         location of the caret.

  88.     Stack
  89.         Stacks the Gopher window in the upper
  90.         part of the screen, and stacks the text
  91.         window in the lower part of the screen.
  92.         The windows location will be similar to
  93.         the location of the window when a new
  94.         window is brought up.
  95.     Tile
  96.         Currently not implemented.
  97.     Zoom
  98.         Allows zooming of a Gopher window, ph
  99.         window, or a text window.  This does the
  100.         same thing as clicking the mouse within
  101.         the zoom box of the respective window.
  102.     Item Inspector
  103.         Makes the Inspector window visible.

  105.         Any gopher windows or text windows that
  106.         are open will exist within the part of
  107.         the menu.  The first 9 windows will
  108.         have command key equivilences.  If you
  109.         open more then 9 windows opened and
  110.         wish to select a window that was
  111.         greater than the ninth window to be
  112.         opened, you will need to use the mouse
  113.         to make your selection.  This option
  114.         will bring the window in which you have
  115.         selected to be the front most window.

  117. PREFERENCES
  118.     Gopher prefs ...
  119.         Brings up a dialog box allowing you to
  120.         change both the default host and port to
  121.         use for New Gopher connections.
  122.     Text Prefs ...
  123.         Brings up a dialog box which allows
  124.         you to set the font, font size, which
  125.         national character set to use, and
  126.         if you want lines longer then the
  127.         width of the screen to be wraped
  128.         around.  The settings you make here
  129.         will effect the next text window that
  130.         gets opened, or the front most window
  131.         if it is a text window.  The options you
  132.         select are valid for both the PH and
  133.         text windows.
  134.     File Creator Prefs ...
  135.         Brings up a dialog allowing you to
  136.         specify what application is the creator
  137.         for a given type of document.
  138.     Make Bookmark ...
  139.         Brings up a dialog asking for a name
  140.         to call this bookmark for a selected
  141.         item within a gopher window.  You may
  142.         have up to 16 different bookmarks.
  143.     Remove Bookmark ...
  144.         Brings up a dialog asking you to
  145.         select which bookmarks to remove.
  146.     (your bookmarks here)
  147.         All your bookmarks will be listed here.

  150.     These options are only available if the
  151.     selected item is a gopher plus item.

  240. SYMBOLS IN THE GOPHER WINDOW
  241.     To get a definition of the symbol that
  242.     appears in the Gopher window, bring up
  243.     the Item Inspector and look at the
  244.     Item Type.

  246. ADDITIONAL KEY STROKE INFORMATION
  247.     If you have selected a cell within the
  248.     gopher window, you can open the
  249.     selection either with a double click,
  250.     or by using either the return key, or
  251.     the enter key.  In Dialogs either the
  252.     Enter or Return key are equivelent to
  253.     selecting Ok, while the Escape key or
  254.     Command-. (period) have the same
  255.     effect for Cancel.  If the option key
  256.     is held down when attempting to
  257.     retrieve an item, the item will be
  258.     retrieved as a text file.
